If it happens after an explanation, then he may be not sure if what he said was correct. In some cultures it`s a sign of respect.
- Cocked heads mean that he is challenging you or confused. Definite meaning depends on eyebrow, eye and mouth gestures.

By the way, if you`re not professional in observing body language signs, don`t try to look after all of them at the same time (that was my biggest mistake when i started leraning body language). So first observe the head position and try to analyse it with the help of above-mentioned statements.
